i know. i was talking to him yesterday/the day before via text and this is how it went down:

me: hey mr activity planner man, how about you plan an activity for us all to get together one more time beofre everyone leaves.
him: i thought you left for az already??
me: mmm no. i dont start school until the 21st. and probably leave here around the 19th.
him: well, do you have anything in mind?
me: this is why i asked you. i never have any good ideas.
*20 mins later*
me: we can go sledding or tubing or something like that.
him: yeah... youre a great help
(i couldnt tell if that was sarcasm or not.. im thinking it was)
me: i know i know. you don't have to tell me that ;-)


end.


so his reason for not calling is because he thought i'd left already. so now he knows i'm going to be here for a little while longer. so we'll see.

if nothing happens, there's always this summer.... and i'm basically over this whole thing now.

we hung out tonight!

it was kinda like a double date setting. but not really.

we had a game night at his house. brittney durfee was there along with our friend matthew.

apparently before i got there and before matthew got there, brittney gave him a "stern" "talking to."

she was like "Lyle, so i hear you asked megan out on a date and haven't gone yet... what gives?!" His response. "I know I know, I've been busy and have had no time to do anything." Brittney: "Megan was really looking forward to it. You know she leaves soon, right?" Him: "I know. I am looking forward to it. I really want to go. And I know she's leaving soon. But hopefully tonight will make up for it." Brittney: "No. get your butt in gear. tonight doesn't count."

haha i love brittney so much.

soooo when she told me that he was "really looking forward to it" too, I pretty much screamed. Haha.

And Game (K)Nights are pretty much the only parties I go to. I wish more of my friends were Seinfeld fans, cause I got Seinfeld Scene It recently.

Playing Risk until two in the morning is always a good night....

we played harry potter clue and imaginiff.

it was funny watching the two boys try to pronounce some of the names and spells. lyle started speaking with a british accent.

maybe he thought saying them that way would make the pronunciations right....

he said "drack-o" for draco and "cra-bay" for crabbe. it was a blasty blast.

edit: the other boy, matthew, had NEVER played any type of clue before!!! yeah, we were shocked, too.

I love Risk!! It's one of the best games ever invented.

I went on a 45 minute run with Jessica today, outdoors! at night! in Rexburg! We didn't speak a word of english the whole time! My spanish is really coming along.

any guesses WHO this was from?! yeah. :-(

for the record, i will be back in the valley of the sun by then. in fact, i will have been back for 5 days at that point. and been to one day of classes.

(no school on monday & i only have class on mondays and wednesdays. when april rolls around, i'll have a 5 week long class on tuesdays.)

hellooooooo 4 day weekends. :-)
