my car, which i've only had since december and which also is a 2007 model was going nutso on my yesterday. the battery light on the dashboard kept going on and off and i couldn't figure out why. i mean, my car is practically brand new.

so i called ford this morning and luckily they had an open appointment at 930. I took my car in and told the guy what was going on and he said it was probably my ultinator getting ready to go out. (An ultinator costs about $800 to get fixed, btw.) So he asked me if I had anyone to pick me up or I could take the shuttle home. But I still needed to get to class at 4 which is about 10 miles from here. I didn't have anyone to pick me up and the shuttle stops running AT four. so even if i took it, i'd have no way home from class. anyway, i decided to make an appointment for next monday when my mom said she'd rent a car through ford for me to use until i got my car back. i brought my car home blah blah blah.

before that, i told the guy that my car has about 425 miles left on the factory warranty. and he told me replacing the ultinator IS COVERED under it. phewf!

so anyway i get home, and my mom calls me and says that a rental should be covered under my extended warranty (not the factory warranty). so she calls the dealer where we bought the car and the confirm that a rental is indeed covered. hooray. so then my mom called the ford dealer down here and explained to them what ford back home told her. she told them to call me when the details got hammered out.

they still haven't called me. i called them at about noon and asked what was going on and left a message for someone to call me back asap. that was about 30 minutes ago. and still nothing.

GAH!

Are you sure it's not the alternator? Just wonderin.

Well, good thing it happened now and not in 426 miles. You should take the rental car off some sweet jumps if you have insurance.

in other news. I might get banned from myspace. I hope so.

I got puppies, one for my sister one for me. Mine is a french bulldog, his name is gustav. My sister has a bischon lapsa, its totally not as rockin as Gustav though.
